In Mail - Retrieve using VPOP3 File Transfer

This topic describes the settings on the In Mail page if Retrieve using VPOP3 File Transfer is chosen as the mail retrieval method. See this topic for the more information on the In Mail settings page.

VPOP3 File Transfer is a method which is used if you need to transfer messages between two VPOP3 servers using only file sharing protocols, when TCP/IP is not available. It is rarely used nowadays, but was previously used with the Windows 95 dial-in server (which only supported NETBEUI, not TCP/IP)

In the VPOP3 Source Path box enter the UNC path to the remote VPOP3 mail server's shared directory

In the VPOP3 File Transfer Users select the user(s) for whom you want to receive mail using the VPOP3 File Transfer method

See here for more details on VPOP3 File Transfer.
