VPOP3 Email Server

Network Faxing with VPOP3

There are several ways you can have network fax support using the VPOP3 Mail Server software. The two that you can use with software purchased through PSCS are:
  1. With VPOP3 1.4.4 Beta and later there is support for a VPOP3 FaxServer option.
  2. With any version of VPOP3, you can use FAXMaker for VPOP3
(There are other FAX Server products on the market, some of which will integrate with VPOP3, and some of which will work alongside VPOP3 with no interaction)

A basic feature comparison of the two systems we sell is given below to help you make your choice:

Notes:
  1. The VPOP3 FaxServer software needs a modem which is connected to a standard COM port (eg not a USB modem), or is an Internal modem which emulates a COM port in hardware, and can send FAXes using standard AT commands without needing any Windows drivers (eg not a "WinModem"). The FaxServer software talks directly to the modem through a COM port without using the Windows modem drivers.

The new VPOP3 Enterprise has IMAP4 support, ODBC support for global address books, and other features for the larger and more demanding business.
