VPOP3 JavaMail
VPOP3 JavaMail is an enhanced web-based email client for VPOP3. It allows access to your email through a
Java-enabled web browser with a user interface that looks very similar to a normal email client (see
the screenshot below)
VPOP3 JavaMail is completely compatible with normal VPOP3 WebMail and the IMAP4 support in VPOP3 Enterprise,
so, for instance, if you create a mail folder in VPOP3 WebMail, that mail folder will
appear in the JavaMail client as well.
VPOP3 JavaMail requires VPOP3 1.4.6 beta or later (or VPOP3 Enterprise 1.4.6 beta or later). All
registered users of VPOP3 have a free single concurrent user licence for VPOP3 JavaMail which can be used
either for evaluation purposes or for normal usage by one person at once. You can
buy licences for more
concurrent users at extra cost if required.
"Concurrent Users" means that a certain number
of people can use the JavaMail facility at once - eg you could have a 100 user VPOP3 licence and a
10 Concurrent User licence for JavaMail. This would allow you up to 100 users defined in VPOP3, and at
any one time you could have up to 10 people using JavaMail - the JavaMail users do not have to be
pre-selected, and when one person stops using JavaMail, another user can start using it.

The new VPOP3 Enterprise has IMAP4 support, ODBC support for global address books,
and other features for the larger and more demanding business.
