The Users settings page lets you manage mailboxes in VPOP3.
Normally each user has an associated mailbox and sometimes there may be extra mailboxes defined for administrative purposes (eg monitoring) or autoresponders.

The User Accounts list shows a list of all the mailboxes defined in VPOP3.
The Account Name column shows the mailbox names with some optional symbols to show properties of that mailbox, these are listed below. You will also see a mailbox called‘*OUTQUEUE. This is a built in mailbox which you can use to view the outgoing mail queue. You cannot edit or remove this mailbox, and it does not count towards the number of users your VPOP3 licence specifies.
The Group column in the list shows which group the mailbox is in. This can also be used for sorting users by category - eg department or school class)
The Messages column shows how many messages are waiting in that user’s 'inbox'. It does not show messages held in subfolders created in WebMail or IMAP4 (VPOP3 Enterprise Only).
The Size column shows the total size of all the messages in the user's mailbox, including any subfolders.
The Comments column shows any columns you have defined for the users.
Next to the mailbox name is an icon which indicates zero or more of the following possibilities:
User is an Administrator
User has an Autoresponder
User has an Assistant
User
has Forwarding
User has both an
Assistant
and Forwarding
User is locked out
due to too many incorrect login
attempts. If you right-click the user you can unlock their account.
To add a new mailbox, press the New button to go to the Add User wizard.
To edit a mailbox settings, click on the mailbox name
To view the messages waiting in a mailbox, click on the number in the Messages column. Alternatively you can edit the user and go the Messages page in their settings.
To delete a user, check the box next to the Account Name, and press Delete. If the user has some messages in their mailbox, you will receive a warning that the user could not be deleted because they still have messages, and the Comments column will contain a checkbox saying 'Purge Messages'. If you check this box (and re-check the box next to the account name) and press Delete again, the user's mailbox will be cleared, and then the user will be deleted.. Note that you cannot delete the currently logged in administrator An Administrator is a VPOP3 user who is allowed to change VPOP3 settings, add/remove users, view queued messages etc. mailbox.
