Set Forwarding Settings using Mailer_Daemon

To set your Forwarding Settings by email send a message to Mailer_Daemon with a subject line of Set Forwarding.

The message text should contain the lines:

USERNAME <username>

PASSWORD <password>

FORWARD TO <forwarding address> or FORWARD OFF or FORWARD ON

Use:

FORWARD TO to set a new forwarding address and enable forwarding.

FORWARD OFF to disable forwarding,

FORWARD ON to enable forwarding with a previously defined forwarding address.

Note: If the USERNAME entry does not match the sender of the message, then the user defined by USERNAME will receive a notification message, saying that the forwarding settings have been modified.

Starting with VPOP3 2.1.1 and later, if you use SMTP authentication to send messages, VPOP3 can use the user details from that instead of requiring the USERNAME and PASSWORD data in the message.
